Managed Server Program
Kinetic Computing's Managed Server Program (MSP) provides businesses the advantages
of a domain based network and numerous essential server applications without the
need for investment in depreciating hardware and expensive IT personnel. To accomplish
this, Kinetic Computing uses enterprise-class Dell or HP servers with VMWare's virtualization
operating system, RAID mirrored hard disks, and redundant power supplies. This means
high performance and reliability with the ability to expand without the need for
additional hardware. Then we create a virtual machine (VM) and install a Linux based
server operating system that has no licensing fees or connection limitations. Connection
of your Windows XP Pro or Windows 7 Pro based PC workstations provides you with
everything you would expect on a domain network.
Because Kinetic Computing retains ownership of the physical server our primary task
is to insure you have a properly functioning server for you business. If it breaks,
we fix or replace it!
The Starter Package includes:
- Full security with network wide user names and passwords.
- 33GB for user profiles and file sharing with user and group level secure access.
- Isolation of internal network (LAN) from Internet with business class firewall.

Expandability
Because we use VMWare, it is easy to add virtual machines with applications like
web hosting for your web site or store; 3CX VoIP PBX; POS, accounting, or ERP systems;
contact and sales management; and many others. The VM’s can be Windows or Linux based
so there is no limitation on what can be installed. We have a large library of Linux
open source applications making a fully computerized business affordable for any
