VoIP Phone Systems for Businesses of All Sizes
3CX Phone System for Windows is much less expensive than a traditional phone system. Unlike “black boxes” 3CX can scale
to almost unlimited capacity just by upgrading server hardware. It can connect to multiple VoIP providers anywhere and
combined with outbound rules can provide the most effective call routing. Because management of the 3CX IP PBX and
attached hardware can be done remotely, we are able to provide support for as little as $5 per extension. Where other
system take years a 3CX system takes month to achieve your return on investment.

For years business telephone systems were the purview of the big phone
companies. Then in the mid 90’s the technology for transmitting voice over
computer networks was developed that revolutionized telephone communications.
This technology is known today as Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). In a
nutshell, VoIP breaks up the analog audio into small packets that can be
processed, routed over data networks, and then reassembled at the “endpoint”. At
first, only computers with attached microphones and speakers could communicate
“voice” with each other. Soon there were dozens of companies offering
proprietary IP phones and PBX systems that interfaced with the Public Switched
Telephone Network (PSTN). The next piece in the puzzle was the introduction of
the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) for creating, modifying, and terminating
sessions with one or more endpoints. These sessions include VoIP, multimedia
distribution, and multimedia conferences, chats, instant messaging, and various
other IP based connections. The final piece is the Internet Telephony Service
Provider (ITSP) which offers the link between the internet attached IP PBX and
the ITSP by means of a SIP trunk. With all these pieces in place voice
communications over the internet is now a reality.
What became obvious to us at Kinetic Computing is the natural progression towards
integration of telephone systems and other applications. So we set out to find the
best way to accomplish this and discovered the 3CX IP PBX for Windows. Not only
is the 3CX software incredibly flexible and feature rich but has a comprehensive
Application Programming Interface (API) that allows for total integration.
